  • Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

It has an actual fantasy plot that has good world building, firmly establishes a dynamic magic system and includes amazing characters with tremendous growth and development.

  • Book of Night by Holly Black

Unfortunately disappointment has a name and it’s The Book of Night. I’m glad it was a stand-alone so I don’t have to slog through anymore books to get this crap ending.

  • Beach Read by Emily Henry

Beach Read is a great book that didn’t fall short of the amazing story I’ve come to expect from Henry.

  • The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake

While I wouldn’t necessary recommend it, I did thoroughly enjoy it. It captivated my attention with not only the science behind it but the dynamic relationships of the group.
