Hello fellow bookworms! Today I have something different for you. I think I’ve done this once before, but it was back in the wee beginnings of my blogging days aka like a year ago. While reading Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust my inner monologue came alive and with some major sass. I decided it might be fun to share these thoughts in a hopefully non-spoilery kind of way. My hope is you’ll read these and be utterly confused but entertained and then when/if you read this book you’ll have a bit of my inner monologue with you and finally making some sense. Enjoy!Continue reading “Teaser Thursday: Girl, Serpent, Thorn”
Guess who’s back to struggling with reading after binging like 5 books? *This GURLLL* I hate myself. Just kidding I’m just frustrated. COVID-19 is again changing how we live our lives and I’m having trouble adjusting to yet another new reality. I have been writing articles for my blog though so that’s been fun and I can’t wait to share them along with my past and somewhat current reads.
There are just three questions to answer:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Thank you to Edelweiss+ and HarperTeen for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I finished this book a few weeks ago and LOVED it. There was a tiny bit of romance but the main focus of this book was this amazing relationship between two sisters. It was so beautiful and touching. I’ll have my review up within the next week or so, but until then here are some teaser quotes to help you decide if maybe you want to add this to your TBR.Continue reading “Teaser Thursday: Sisters of Sword and Song”
I binge read this book in like a night and loved it. I’ve never read any kind of Persian fairytales and this book mixed several of them and there was an amazing f/f romance! Bashardoust weaves this amazing tale of bravery and how important it is to accept yourself flaws and all. This week I have some quotes for you so enjoy and be sure to add this one to your TBR.Continue reading “Teaser Thursday: Girl, Serpent, Thorn”
