Synopsis
Bailey Briggs is counting down the days to Christmas: she lives for holiday music, baking cookies, going on snowy sleigh rides, and wearing her light-up reindeer ears to work at Winslow’s bookstore. But all she really wants this year is the one thing she doesn’t have: someone special to kiss under the mistletoe. And she’s 100 percent certain that that someone isn’t Jacob Marley–athlete, player, and of questionable taste in girlfriends–and that Charlie, the mysterious stranger with the British accent, is the romantic lead of her dreams. Is she right? This will be a December to remember, filled with real-life Christmas magic . . . and, if she stays on Santa’s nice list, a wish that just might come true.

Review
I was looking for a light holiday romance to kick off the Christmas season. All I Want for Christmas delivered on the cute winter wonderland atmosphere and simple romance. I went into this book not expecting much depth, more the book equivalent of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
All Bailey wants for Christmas is a little romance and a boy to kiss her under the mistletoe. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt due to how young she was and knowing how I was at that age, but she was a tad judgmental especially towards her love interests. We do get a bit of character growth but it backtracks real fast. Bailey tried to do good deeds though in the name of Christmas spirit which I really loved.
The book really delivered with cozy cute holiday dates and cheer! We get a festive bookshop, a lovely cafe and the tree farm was the most perfect touch. We had two love interests, Charlie and Jacob, but I have to admit I adored Jacob more and thought he and Bailey had good chemistry.
The ending felt super rushed to me and I was not a fan of how the love triangle was resolved. It felt very out of left field and I could’ve done with a more typical ending. I went into this book looking for a short and quick Christmas packed romance though and that’s what I got. I was all for the holiday cheer packed into this story and can’t wait to bake some spritz cookies with the included recipe!
