Synopsis

Review
I had a really hard time putting my thoughts together for a review if this book. I didn’t want one thing I strongly disliked about it to cloud my judgement on the rest of the book. To help rectify this situation I’ve chosen to go with a different review format!
What I Liked:
Trinity. She is just so independent but also knows her restrictions which is not an easy thing. Her eyesight is slowly getting worse and it’s hard to ask for help but she does and works hard to not let her eyes be a weakness
My ultimate bad boy super sexy prince of hell Roth. He shows up quite a bit and I love the friendship that is starting to form between him and Trin. They’re literally two sides of the same coin which was such an interesting dynamic
The last 1/4 of the book. We finally get the missing pieces of the puzzle that had been hinted at. It was shocking and the battle at the end was intense. I loved the teamwork happening and I’m intrigued to see what new players might step up next book to bring down the Harbinger
That cliffhanger. I need answers now because I’m so excited yet so utterly confused.
What I Disliked:
Zayne. I loved him with Trinity even if he was still a bit closed off. That kind of imploded here. He was still super closed off and not willing to open up or talk things out with Trin and that led to this huge blowup that had them on edge and fighting until it all of a sudden didn’t. I couldn’t let that go. I get he was upset and wanted to be loved, not used, but how would Trinity have known that since he never talked to her about any of it?
The first 3/4 of the book. Beyond Trinity overcoming her failing eyesight it lulled. Not a lot of action and it was more focused on the romance, which you can tell from above I started to dislike.
Overall I think the ending of the book really saved it. While it might’ve lulled it came back action packed and with answers that finally tied everything together. As for Zayne and Trinity, boy is going to have to work really hard to make me forgive him. Trin is too big of a softy but I love her anyways. Here’s hoping my hottie Roth has some tricks up his sleeve to help Trin stop the apocalypse.
