Guess who’s back to struggling with reading after binging like 5 books? *This GURLLL* I hate myself. Just kidding I’m just frustrated. COVID-19 is again changing how we live our lives and I’m having trouble adjusting to yet another new reality. I have been writing articles for my blog though so that’s been fun and I can’t wait to share them along with my past and somewhat current reads.
There are just three questions to answer:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What am I currently reading?
Jo & Laurie by Margaret Stohl & Melissa de la Cruz

I am so excited to finally be reading this title for my tour on Sunday! I feel in love with this book from the two chapters I read on BookishFirst and when I actually sit down to read it, I fall into this Little Women universe with a whole new take that really captures my attention.

Not Your #LoveStory by Sonia Hartl

I laughed, I cried and I learned that consent is not only needed in sexual situations but also in putting stuff online. Macy has a whole Twitter thread about her life, that is completely made up, go viral. Pictures were posted without her consent and then the guy in the situation hops on-board for his 15 minutes of fame without even consulting her first. Her privacy is invaded, she’s slut-shamed and she’s just plain bullied. Such an important story considering it’s about something I never considered; the downside to going viral.

The Glamourist (The Vine Witch #2) by Luanne G. Smith

I finished reading The Vine Witch last week and loved it! Witches are so making a comeback and I loved the idea of them being behind some of the top vineyards. A good wine is basically magic. I can’t wait to see what Smith has up her sleeve and I’m excited to get to know these characters even better.
