Welcome back again to another week of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. I skipped last week because I’ve been in a reading funk and hadn’t been reading too much. Hope everyone else is doing well during this time and remember you don’t have to be overtly productive during this time, just do your best.
There are just three questions to answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What am I currently reading?/What do I think I’ll read next?
I’m combining them this week because this slump has not had me picking up a book since my last read. I need to get through these two books though since they’re releasing in May still and they deserve to be reviewed. Also when I say get through I do not mean they’re awful, I know they won’t be I’m just hardcore struggling to crack a book open.
Dark Skies by Danielle L. Jensen

The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly by Jamie Pacton

What did I recently finish reading?
How to Quit Your Crush by Amy Fellner Dominy

Last year I got to read Fellner Dominy’s Announcing Trouble and it was such a cute baseball romance that I instantly loved. How to Quit Your Crush is a companion novel and follows the best friend of the female MC from Announcing Trouble! It took me a bit to get into it because I wasn’t the biggest fan of our female MC Maya, but she grew on me. The love male interest was so swoony though and he showed some real emotions which I love in my mens. If You’re a contemporary romance fan I highly recommend checking it out!
