Well I’m back from my adventure abroad and it appears as if I’ve arrived just in time for a slow release week. The only thing on my release radar this week is a novella. Slightly disappointed but also so extremely exhausted and behind on all the other releases from this month so I’ll call it a bi-week. I will be checking out this novella below though. Also please let me know if there was anything else releasing this week. There is a huge possibility the jet lag has got to me.
The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzie Lee – TBR
Title: The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky
Series: The Montague Siblings #1.5
Author: Mackenzie Lee
Release Date: November 26, 2019
Publisher: Katherine Tegan Books
Genre: Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Romance, LGBT
In this funny and frothy novella that picks up where the New York Times bestselling The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue leaves off, freshly minted couple Monty and Percy fumble through their first time together.
Monty’s epic grand tour may be over, but now that he and Percy are finally a couple, he realizes there is something more nerve-wracking than being chased across Europe: getting together with the person you love.
Will the romantic allure of Santorini make his first time with Percy magical, or will all the anticipation and build-up completely spoil the mood?
A novella about someones first time? I need it. I’m guessing it will be an awkward, bumbling hot mess full of love. I also love that it’s a gay couple. We need more LGBT representation and Lee has done a great job of bringing us amazing characters that embody that. I’ve loved following Monty on his journey thus far and look forward to this little tidbit of behind-the-scenes action.
